Description of the system :

 

The Dobot Robotic Cobot & Vision Station is an industrial training system that allows the implementation of a 6-axis collaborative robot with machine vision (option)

This system integrates a 6 axis collaborative robot :

- Dobot Robotic with its controller and its color touch pad (wireless):

CR3 (3kg load - 620mm radius) Ref : DB20
CR5 (5kg load - 1096mm radius) Ref : DB21
CR10 (10kg load - Radius dec1525mm) Ref : DB22

Each robot is provided with its controller and an Android touch pad.

The Cobot & Vision Dobot station can be used alone, for collaborative robotics training, or within the ErmaSmart, Ermaflex and ErmaLean production lines.

The possible height adjustment of the work surface also allows to adapt it to a large number of industrial situations.            

The system is fully secured (collaborative robot) and can be used to implement practical activities based on collaborative industrial robotics.

The Cobot Station can be used alone, for collaborative robotics training, or within the ErmaSmart, Ermaflex and ErmaLean production lines.

The height adjustment of the work surface also allows to adapt it to a large number of industrial situations.

In "isolated" use, two experimental environments are
proposed:

  • Parts for clip and glue simulation projects
  • Parts for 2D unscrewing and pick-and-place projects.

But the open character of the station and its height adjustment allow it to be adapted to many other scenarios.

The numerous options allow to develop a complete pedagogical approach on robotics and vision. All references are listed at the end of this document.

This robotic system designed in the spirit of the Industry of the Future (Industry 4.0) meets the main requirements on intelligence and evolution of production methods:

Scalability & Flexibility with the possibility to assign the station to different uses within the shop floor.
IoT & Communications with the industrial robot Dobot Robotic and optional 2D cameras.
This didactic system is mainly intended for activities of driving, piloting of systems, industrial maintenance, robotics & automatisms.

The Cobot & Vision Dobot station can be equipped with the following options

The removable Cobot Station allows educational activities of:

  • Commissioning and validation of the operation
  • Adjustment and parameterization of the different components
  • Programming of the Dobot robot and peripherals of vision, security, gripping and tracking
  • Control and validation of the production
  • Production changeover
    Diagnosis and predictive maintenance software
  • Enhanced maintenance with new functionalities
  • Safety of collaborative robotic cells (Risk analysis, Scanners parameterization
    scanners...)
  • Design and manufacture of 3D printed robot jaws and tools
  • Development of a mini-supervision of equipment on Node-RED (Communication with the S7-1200 PLC, Creation of supervision pages, Creation of operator alerts...)
