PIXIO The camera-following robot

SI/CPGE

Presentation:

PIXIO is a camera-following robot that films both indoors and outdoors. Equipped with a geolocation device using radio beacons, it can follow a target equipped with a special watch up to a distance of 100 meters.

PC-based configuration, control, and acquisition interface:

- Real-time visualization of the physical quantities of the control loops on an animated synoptic diagram
- Visualization of geolocation data and mapping of the position of the PIXIO watch (target to be tracked)
- Adjustment of block parameters:
Watch position filters
Calculation of the angle of view with extrapolation
- Adjustment of servo parameters (LABO robot):
Current PI
Position PID
- Video image delivered by the LABO robot's USB camera
- Acquisition of responses from the LABO robot's axis to conventional inputs
- Saving, loading, and exporting acquisitions
