Presentation:

The Sphere software allows you to create content for virtual reality in a graphical way.

Sphere makes Virtual Reality accessible to everyone, it is simple and intuitive to use and requires no programming skills

ERM Automatismes develops virtual reality learning scenarios for various professions (maintenance, electricity). We offer ready-made scenarios, but we can also help you develop your own scenarios.

Method:

Step 1: Import your 360° resources

  • The environment in which your user will operate
  • Import 360° photos/videos or 3D scenes (SolidWorks, etc.)

Step 2: Bring your content to life

  • Enrich the VR project with photos, videos, sounds, 3D objects, etc.
  • Define the navigation and display conditions using the implications editor integrated into the software

Step 3: Test and publish

  • Position your objects in the visual editor
  • Test your WebVR resource in your VR headset or on screen
  • Publish and distribute via a web browser

Scenarios proposed by ERM:

Sphere VR scenario "Maintenance of a mobile robot + Cobot arm" proposed for production and maintenance professions:

  • First immersive step: Discover the system consisting of a Mir100 mobile robot and a UR5 eSerie 6-axis collaborative robot and identify a fault.
  • Second immersive step: Troubleshoot the fault in accordance with electrical safety regulations, using electrical measuring devices.

Sphere VR scenario "Functional discovery of the Ermasmart line" designed for production and maintenance professions:

  • This Sphere scenario consists of two immersive missions in a 360° image/video context.
  • The two missions allow you to tour the Ermasmart production line in Assembly configuration (Mission 1) and Packaging configuration (Mission 2).

Sphere VR scenario "Safety components on an industrial production line" offered for Production and Maintenance professions:

  • This Sphere scenario consists of an immersive mission in a 360° image/video context.
  • Learners will study the safety components used on a packaging line for kit scooters. They will have to identify the components and answer questions about their functions in order to understand why they are there and the appropriate safety behaviors.

Sphere VR scenario "Discovering Smart Grid (Nice Grid)" designed for electricity-related professions:

  • This Sphere scenario consists of three immersive missions in a 360° image/video environment.
  • Mission 1: Functional analysis of distribution points and control devices
  • Mission 2: Functional analysis of the various energy storage solutions deployed
  • Mission 3: Commissioning and functional testing of a solar transformer to regulate grid voltage according to the intermittency of PV production.

Sphere VR scenario "High Voltage Authorization (HO/H1)" proposed for electrical professions (scenario available in the first half of 2021):

  • This Sphere scenario consists of three immersive missions in a 360° image/video context.
  • Mission 1: Functional analysis of the transformer (differences between mechanical and electronic cells).
  • Mission 2: Risk identification in the transformer room.
  • Mission 3: Measuring power quality on the LV and HV sides

Sphere VR scenario "BP Photovoltaic Certification" for electrical trades (scenario available in the first half of 2021):

  • This Sphere scenario consists of two immersive missions in a 360° image/video context
  • Mission 1: Preventive maintenance of a photovoltaic power plant
  • Mission 2: Replacement of an inverter (corrective maintenance)

Key features:

In-house production of training content, virtual tours, etc.

SCORM file generation
