Instrumented 3D printer

SI/STI2D/CPGE/Univ

Presentation:

"I3D" is a real, operational 3D printer whose print head and motorization are instrumented to enable the study and validation of construction solutions and control laws specific to DELTA structures.

Integrated into a steel acquisition console, the unit connects quickly via USB to a PC equipped with its control and measurement acquisition interface. A sensor pod on the print head allows for numerous acquisitions to be made.

PC configuration, control, and acquisition:

- Extrusion nozzle temperature control

- SED control of the various axes using a state graph

- Study of the input-output law of the Delta structure

- Acausal modeling of the energy chain for the Gamma axis - Control and acquisition via Arduino
