Digital signage for a Smart City, compatible with Smart Grid ERM (For'SmartGrid)
Trotem digital signage is a display panel that integrates into a Smart City and our Smart Grid, For'SmartGrid.
A digital signage system allows you to broadcast information in the form of video, audio, image, or document files by sending them from your computer to servers. These servers process the information and associated configuration to launch the displays according to the programming.
With the web, digital signage is connected. On the one hand, it can connect to data feeds to provide practical information, news, etc. It can also broadcast content directly from social networks. Finally, digital signage connects to applications (web or business software) to extract data, process it, and broadcast it.
The information broadcast can take the form of various media such as films, photo slideshows, animations, PowerPoint presentations, files (PDF, Excel, Word), web pages, RSS feeds, or any type of multimedia file.
Using Node RED allows for remote maintenance of the system: monitoring energy consumption, monitoring PC load statistics, and remotely turning the screen and cabinet fan on and off.
