Description of the system :

The 6-axis Robotics Initiation Cell is an industrial didactic system allowing to be initiated and to improve oneself to applications and projects implementing a 6-axis industrial robot with industrial vision.

  • 3D simulation software KUKA Sim 3.1 Education (15 network licenses) and KUKA OfficeLite KSS 8.5 Education (15 network licenses)

Pedagogical activities :

Apprehend the different operating modes of a 6-axis industrial robot :

  • "Operator setting" mode: control from the SmartPAD in slow speed with "dead man's" safety and active door safety
  • Service technician" mode: control from the SmartPAD at low speed with "dead man's" safety and inactive door security
  • Automatic Production" mode: automatic control at high speed
  • Synchronised Automatic Production" mode: automatic control at high speed with synchronisation on events external to the cell.

Modify and generate trajectories while getting used to the geometric markers used in robotics

Develop programs

Carry out adjustments and parameterizations

Carry out maintenance operations

Realization of projects with gripping, industrial vision

Safety of collaborative robotic cells (Risk analysis, Scanners parameterization...)

Design and manufacture of robot jaws and tools in 3D printing

Development of a mini-supervision of equipment on Node-Red (Communication with the S7-1200 PLC, Creation of supervision pages, Creation of operator alerts...)
