Machine driving simulator - Vortex

Presentation of the Machine Driving Simulator:

The construction machine driving simulator is a system consisting of a standard hardware platform and add-ons (components and software) for customizing the desired construction machine.

The skills acquired on the simulator are exceptional and transferable to real heavy equipment in complete safety.

Available construction equipment:

Technical specifications:

2 platforms consisting of a frame with an ergonomic seat (static or dynamic), a support incorporating a screen, a touchpad and an integrated PC computer

• The static version includes a fixed seat.
• The dynamic version includes a seat on jacks to increase realism.

Additional hardware depending on the construction equipment, including control levers and pedals (identical to those on the actual construction equipment).

The hardware platform can be upgraded from 1 flat screen or curved screen to 3 flat screens depending on the desired level of immersion and realism.

Training modules provided.

Available in EDGE version with a laptop and two joysticks for use in a classroom (training on machine components, safety practices, and equipment behavior)

Example of training modules:

The backhoe loader training module includes progressive learning exercises, from beginner to advanced. They are designed to gradually develop the learner's skills and confidence.

Example: Understanding vehicle controls and positioning, bucket positioning, earthmoving and transport, excavation, truck loading, use of quick couplers, safe load handling.

Key features:

Multiple different construction machines can be simulated on the same hardware platform

System allows training time to be optimized and consumable costs to be reduced
