TRIPHASTEL S.I. - Start-up test board

Presentation of "TRIPHASTEL TESYS":

Communicating motor start wiring board dedicated to the design and wiring of control and starting power circuits for asynchronous motors.

The board is based on a Schneider Electric TeSys U control unit connected (MODBUS) to a PC-based parameterization and acquisition interface (Human Machine Interface).

Composition:

- Control panel with control and signaling devices;
- Front panel dedicated to wiring;
- Power base, multifunction control, auxiliary contacts, reversing switch;
- Three-phase asynchronous brake motor.

Educational activities:

- Implement motor start-up diagrams
- Validate protection circuits by applying a load to the motor shaft
- Measure circuit voltages and currents
- Create faults (overload, phase imbalance, shaft blockage, phase failure, etc.)
- Use the HMI to predict motor behavior in common situations
- Develop ModBus frames between the PC and the frequency converter
- Use maintenance support tools (event log, fault history)
- Study the energy chain: study energy conversion and distribution.
