Ermasmart distribution table

System description:

The Ermasmart distribution table is a stand-alone system for storing pots at the start of the line, with a view to distributing them at regular intervals to the Dosaxe dosing station.

It incorporates a system with a rotating star wheel and a belt conveyor, which is very commonly used in industrial packaging operations.

The main functions of the Distribution Table are:

• Storing the jars at the start of the line on a conveyor.
• Conveying the finished items (different jar sizes) along a 90° trajectory.
• Performing maintenance activities on mechanical parts.
• Accepting a change in jar format.

General information:

The Ermasmart distribution table mainly consists of:

• A mechanically welded frame with epoxy paint on 4 height-adjustable legs to adapt to different conveyor heights.
• A belt conveyor
• A different colored star for each jar format.
• An electrical cabinet attached to the frame.
• A 24/48V stepper motor controlled by its controller.
• Four knurled screws for quick format changes.
• A torque limiter created with spring washers to ensure safety in the event of a jam.
• An input sensor to detect the presence of a pot.
• Mechanical parts (surface-mounted bearing, elastic coupling) that will enable maintenance activities to be created.
