H2 fluidic bench (Hydrogen tank maintenance)

Fluidics bench

Presentation:

H2SYS and its partners have developed a fluidic test bench dedicated to training in the maintenance of on-board hydrogen tanks.

The test bench represents the architecture of a tank system integrated into hydrogen-powered electric machines and vehicles. The components are EC79/2009 and PED certified.

For training purposes and to meet safety requirements, the system operates with a hydrogen/nitrogen mixture.

Work can be carried out without ATEX risks.

The system is equipped with a supervision card (ECU) incorporating operating logic identical to that used in vehicles.

Technicians will find standard equipment: type 3 tank, tank head, EFV, TPRD, receptacle, pressure regulator, etc.

The entire system can even be refilled with a hydrogen nozzle (supplied as an option), just like at a hydrogen station.

Educational activities:

Identification of the main components and their respective functions.

Measurement of pressure and temperature levels.

Recording of a tank from the cylinder head.

Performing leak tests.

Replacing the fluid line on the low-pressure side according to bending plans.

Using and connecting double ring fittings.

Understanding the safety devices integrated into the tank block supervision board.

Tank inerting.

Key features:

Representative of an H2 tank installed in a vehicle.

Operation with an inert gas

R134 and PED approved equipment

Supply of consumables for training courses

Integrated automotive-type supervisor

Filling with H2 nozzle
